Super 8mm Film
Super 8mm film was later introduced in 1965 also by Eastman Kodak. Super 8mm film offered a 25% larger image area over the Regular 8mm film and also offered the opportunity for sound. It has smaller sprocket holes on the film compared to Regular 8mm film. Both the 8mm & Super 8mm film gauges are still available and in use worldwide.
